In Switzerland, we collaborate with established partners to procure real estate data for each evaluation and development project. For data of the Greek real estate market, where fewer such data partners exists, we systematically collect, observe and analyse the real estate market.
Our goal is to create transparency and insight – to support data-driven decision-making ahead of investments, developments and architectural projects.
By analysing all the hotels of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (all hotels of the country must be on this register), we provide full insight into the Greek hotel market, broken down into the thirteen administrative regions of Greece. In this study, we are also able to compare each region to the country as a whole and provide insight that can help inform hotel developments and build an understanding of the hotel market.
For example, with this data set, we can answer the following questions: Where are most of the hotels? How many rooms are on the market in this region? What are the star ratings? How big are the hotels and what is their occupancy per season?
Since 2017, we have been collecting and monitoring the open real estate market, collecting information from over 60,000 listings per week. In the beginning of 2020, we will publish the first report on the Greek housing market.
With this data set, we can answer for example the following questions: What are the published prices in each area? How many listings are on the market? How long are the listings online? What are the average sizes of the properties?
